Charles Bridge
Mr. Bridge was educated at the University of Maine and Northeastern Graduate School of Business Administration.
Mr. Bridge has a broad wealth of financial and investment services experience, having served in executive positions for both public and private companies. Mr. Bridge’s work spans a wide spectrum and includes the successful handling and management of financial and partnership accounting, mergers, SEC reporting, NASD reporting, human resources management and corporate risk matters.
Mr. Bridge entered the financial services field upon his completion of graduate studies. Previously, he served as the Director of Financial Services for the Boston Water and Sewer Commission where he was responsible for managing a wide array of the commission’s financial operations including its operating budget, capital improvement budget, investment portfolio and the citywide rate setting process.
In 1996, Mr. Bridge joined the Wellesley Group, a full-service investment advisory firm, as both Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. In this position, he managed the financial and brokerage areas of the company. Additionally, he was instrumental in preparing the company for acquisition by Capital Resource Advisors (CRA).
Following CRA’s acquisition, Mr. Bridge served as Chief Financial Officer and Financial/Operations Principal for Capital Resource Advisors/Wellesley Group (CRA/WGI), an investment advisory firm with $60 billion in funds under advisement. While employed at CRA/WGI, Mr. Bridge successfully managed the financial, accounting and brokerage departments.
In 2000, Mr. Bridge joined Boston Capital Ventures (BCV) as Chief Financial Officer, an established venture capital firm specializing in emerging growth and information technology investing. Mr. Bridge was responsible for all day-to-day financial operations of the firm and its funds, as well as serving as a resource for BCV portfolio companies.
