James F. Ward

Associate

Mr. James Ward joined Brooke Private Equity Associates in January of 2011.  As an Associate at BPEA, Mr. Ward is actively involved in the sourcing and analysis of new investment opportunities including due diligence, market research, financial analysis, and enterprise valuation. 

Mr. Ward joined BPEA from Odeon Capital Group, a full service broker/dealer headquartered in New York. As a member of Odeon’s Investment Banking Group, Mr. Ward provided valuation, strategic advisory, debt refinancing, and capital raising services to middle market companies from a variety of industries including aerospace and defense, financial services, industrial technologies, and natural resources. While at Odeon, Mr. Ward was involved in both public and private market transactions and earned his Series 7, 63, and 79 FINRA licenses.

Mr. Ward holds a Bachelor’s degree with high honors from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Masters degree from the Harvard Kennedy School, where he concentrated in Business & Government Policy.  Mr. Ward is an Eli J. Segal Fellow.
